Skip Intro
Allow viewers to skip past the opening credits and theme of TV shows or movies. To enable this feature your data source must indicate the point in the asset (timecode) users should skip to. This feature is available starting from version 10 on mobile and TV platforms.
Prerequisites
In order for the Skip Intro to appear in the player, the specific segments should be marked throughout the feed. A feed structure should be adjusted according to these requirements.
With skip functionality, play next overlay appearance can also be set in the feed.
Enable the button on the player screen by expanding the Skip Button section.
The Skip button will only be available on full player mode.
Localization
The button text label can be changed and localized on the player screen or overwritten in the feed.
Styling
Button styling can be adjusted in the Skip Button section, including font family, size, color, background and other aspects.
Please be aware that on tvOS, we leverage the native player button, ensuring seamless functionality without the need for styling adjustments.
